New VOD partner for Orange Slovakia

May 15, 2015 10.02 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Banaxi GoOrange Slovakia has entered into a strategic partnership with the VOD operator Banaxi.

Under it, Orange customers opting for TV Extra, SAT TV Extra and Fiber TV services will also gain access to the new Banaxi on demand service Filmoteka+.

The latter’s monthly subscription consists of 50 films and series, as well as individual films from Banaxi’s offer.

Banaxi was established in 2012 and provides VOD services in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, with plans for further expansion.

It has strategic partnerships already with the German company NetRange MMH, as well as Tesco Stores in the Czech Republic.

Besides VOD, Banaxi develops OTT services for companies seeking a white label solution.
