Three bidders have qualified for what is a third tender for DTT multiplex licences in Romania.
According to the regulator Ancom, Grup Est Security, Info Total Press and TV Sat 2002 have been admitted to the next stage, with a fourth – Nova Media – disqualified for failing to fulfill the conditions specified in the tender.
The auction is for two national, 31 regional and 19 local multiplexes.
The winners will be announced by May 13, unless a further round is required.
The first tender, which was held last year, saw the National Radiocommunications Company (SNR) awarded three national multiplexes.
The second, held earlier this year, resulted in regional multiplex licences being awarded to a total of five companies.
