Netgem says it’s rolling out features for EE TV, including Save from Replay and HD Replay.
Launched by the telco last October, the TV service is based on the Netgem PVX platform.
This version of “Replay” allows viewers to set their TV box to record the last 24 hours of the six favourite channels, which will then allow them to watch all shows from the start, regardless of whether or not the transmission has completed.
When launched the inability to store such shows was highlighted by otherwise favourable reviews. The result is Save from Replay.
The platform has featured the BBC’s Connected Red Button (now Red Button+) since December and since March NOW TV.
