RTL Nederland will launch its 24/7 news channel RTL Z on September 7, the broadcaster said.
RTL Z will be one of the pillars of the RTL News operation, which also includes online and app versions.
Originally, a spring launch was envisaged for the news channel, but now the date of September 7 has been set,
At the moment, RTL Z is broadcast during daytime on RTL7, a male-skewed channel during the remainder of the day. Various TV series will be added to RTL7’s daytime programming, but the broadcaster did not issue any details.
