The launch of Telenor Satellite Broadcasting’s Thor 7 has been postponed after an issue at the launch pad in Kourou, French Guiana.
Arianespace Flight VA222 had been due to launch on April 15, carrying Thor 7, and the Italian Sicral 2.
Arianespace said it was now working towards a tentative launch date of April 24, which would be confirmed in the next 48 hours.
The anomaly occurred on a fluid connector between the cryogenic upper stage and the launch table.
The launch vehicle and its payloads have been placed in fully safe conditions and in stand-by mode.
