The leading Czech IPTV platform O2 TV will add Sport1 HD to its line-up on April 1.
According to Digizone, there are at present few other operators that distribute the channel, whose attractive offer includes Formula 1 and the Continental Ice Hockey League (KHL).
UPC Czech is one, while Skylink only provides a SD version of the service.
O2 TV is operated by the formerly Telefónica owned incumbent and costs from CZK299 (€10.87) a month to receive.
Its sports offer includes major European football leagues, including the English Premier League, Ligue 1, Seria A and Bundesliga, along with the NBA, NHL and NFL.
It will also include an addition 130 Champions League games from next season.
Subscribers can also access O2 TV Go, which includes a special channel named Sport 3 that features Formula 1.
