Gazprom Media Holding (GMH) has announced the appointment of Aleksandr Vronsky as the new CEO of the DTH platform NTV-Plus.
He will take over the position from Stanislav Rodionov, who has left the company to pursue his career elsewhere.
At the same time, Mikhail Demin has been appointed the first deputy DG at NTV-Plus.
Commenting on the appointments, Dmitry Chernyshenko, the chairman of the board of GMH, said that NTV-Plus currently faces a number of tasks, including optimising the structure of then business, developing sports content, expanding market share, penetrating new segments and promoting relevant technological solutions.
In a separate development, Vedomosti reports that Vladimir Tyulin, the deputy DG of National Media Group, has been appointed the DG of Ren TV.
He will succeed Irina Varlamov, who has been in the post since September 2013 and will be found another position in the group.
