Amanda Hill joins A+E Networks

Amanda Hill, Chief Creative Officer, International, A+E NetworksA+E Networks has appointed Amanda Hill as Chief Creative Officer, International.

The announcement was made today by Sean Cohan, EVP, International, to whom Ms. Hill will be reporting.

In this role, Ms. Hill will oversee international marketing, communication and programming teams across A+E Networks’ global portfolio. She will be responsible for managing and growing marketing in support of A+E brands and businesses, including brand strategy, consumer and B2B marketing, on-air creative execution, communications and research for rapid-growth channels, program sales, and digital businesses around the world.

In addition, Ms. Hill will be in charge of all content for the division, including development of original programming and co-productions, as well as strategic management of A+E Networks’ content sourced from domestic networks, locally and globally produced and acquired.

“I’m thrilled Amanda is joining and will be leading A+E International’s incredibly strong creative teams in place around the world; she’s one of the most respected and creative marketers in global media,” said Cohan.

“With her worldwide perspective, passionate creativity and strategic acumen, she will be the ideal partner to continue the rapid expansion of our brands and content in the international marketplace.”

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Hill was Chief Brands Officer BBC Worldwide since December 2012.
