March 24, 2015 10.27 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Czech flagThe Czech Association of Electronic Communications (CAEC) has provided further details of what will be its 16th annual conference, due to take place at the Hotel International Prague (formerly Crowne Plaza Prague Hotel) on April 28.

Attendees will include Malcolm Harbour, a long-time MEP and one of the principal architects of the European regulatory framework for electronic communications; the chairman of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, under whose auspices the conference will take place; the chairman of the Czech Telecommunications Office Council; the chairman of the Slovak NRA; the deputy chairman of the Broadcasting Council, and the deputy minister for Industry and Trade.

Also in attendance will be representatives of TV programme providers, as well as of commercial TV channels.

Panel discussions will cover such subjects as the further development of TV broadcast and TV retransmission in the Czech Republic, as well as the illegal distribution of protected content.

An updated version of the programme can be found on the conference website.
