Magyar Telekom has been fined HUF65 million (€230,000) for failing to provide its customers with information about compensation when it has restricted services.
In a statement, the regulator NMHH says that this is not the telco’s first infringement and that it affected thousands of its subscribers.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, Magyar Telekom was only last month fined HUF160 million for violating regulations and contract conditions by limiting electronic communications services.
It was fined an additional HUF2 million for this not being its first offence.
