German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will continue to show the European Golf Tour in the next years live and exclusive in Germany and Austria.
The rights agreement signed with European Tour Productions, a joint venture of the European Tour and IMG, also includes the Ryder Cup 2016 and 2018, the four tournaments of the World Golf Championships, the Asian Tour and the Sunshine Tour as well as highlights of the European Seniors Tour and the Challenge Tour.
In addition to the exclusive live transmission rights via cable and satellite, the contract of which financial details have not been disclosed contains the exclusive internet, IPTV and mobile TV rights for Germany and Austria.
