Russia’s Gazprom Media Holding will bring the distribution of its thematic channels under one roof from April 1.
From that date, the DTH platform NTV-Plus and production and distribution company Red Media will effectively merge the distribution of their channels.
Commenting on the development, Stanislav Rodionov, the general director of NTV-Plus, said that it was the beginning of the necessary integration of Gazprom Media Holding and would have a significant synergistic effect.
Roman Stolarskiy, the general director of Red Media, added that it would give telecom operators opportunities to create unique packages of channels of different genres with a flexible pricing policy and cost optimisation.
