Deutsche Telekom has gained a new customer for its cable TV service: FLÜWO Bauen Wohnen, the largest building association in federal state Baden-Württemberg, has commenced providing its apartments with Telekom’s TeleVision service at the end of January 2015.
As part of the transition to TeleVision, Telekom has connected the cooperative’s buildings to its fibre-optic network, thereby also enabling high-speed internet access.
TeleVision currently contains 37 analogue, more than 100 digital and 23 HD channels. The lineup also comprises pay-TV packages from Sky and KabelKiosk as well as foreign-language channels. The tenants have the option to sign up for internet and telephony from Telekom.
TeleVision is provided as a basic service in FLÜWO’s 8,500 flats. More than 2,200 tenants have also opted for internet and telephony from Telekom.
The housing company previously provided its apartments with TV, internet and telephony from cable operator Unitymedia Kabel BW.
