Slovakia’s Antik Telecom will commercially launch its hybrid satellite platform at the end of next month.
According to Parabola, free test broadcasts are due to start on Eutelsat 16A at 16 degrees East in the next few days.
Once up and running, the entry package will offer viewers at least 18 channels for €0.99 a month and include an archive.
The Family package will meanwhile cost €8.80 a month and consist of over 50 channels. The offer will include HD as well as SD channels, broadcast at 6 Mbps and 2 Mbps respectively.
The service, known as AntikSAT, will also offer viewers a range of additional features including recording, internet TV and a media player, as well as Antik TV Go.
Existing customers with home wireless internet will receive the service for free as part of their current triple-play package.
