M7 Group to distribute MNAM

February 24, 2015 13.31 Europe/London By Robert Briel

MNAM_TV_LogoM7 Group has concluded a satellite capacity and distribution agreement with Prague-based CE Media for the distribution of the new Czech cooking and lifestyle channel MNAM tv.

MNAM tv is distributed via Skylink, the M7-owned satellite TV platform at Astra on 23.5 degrees East, reaching over two million satellite TV homes in Czech Republic and Slovakia. As part of the agreement, M7 Platform Services also arranges for the satellite distribution of MNAM tv to third party operators in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

MNAM tv brings the Czech and Slovak viewers 24/7 programs on cooking and healthy lifestyle, including culinary programmes and talk shows. MNAM tv presents leading professionals in the field, such as chef Emanuele Ridi, Marketa Pavleye, Michal Nikodem, Jaroslav Zidek and others.

“MNAM tv is a unique project never seen before in the CEE region. Culinary experiences are one of the most popular topics in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so with the launch of MNAM tv we expect to meet a high demand,” said Erika Luzsicza, CEO of AXOCOM and representative of MNAM tv.

“We have chosen for a partnership with M7 and Skylink since this allows us to reach a wide viewing audience right from the start, while also being able to use the signal for distribution of MNAM tv to third parties.”

Bill Wijdeveld, VP Business Development of M7 Group commented: “We are very happy that MNAM tv selected M7 Group as its satellite distribution partner, thereby recognizing the need for a full service solution, including inclusion in the Skylink channel line-up, EPG and local marketing support. Moreover, with its programming tailored to the taste of the Czech and Slovak people, MNAM tv is a very attractive addition to the Skylink bouquet and we look forward to a successful cooperation over the coming years. ”
