The Russian telco Rostelecom has launched a multiscreen service. At the same time, it has made its Zabava multimedia app available on Samsung Smart TVs.
The multiscreen service is available to all Rostelecom’s Interactive TV subscribers, either through the Zabava app or zabava.ru portal.
It allows viewing on up to five devices, with one of its distinctive features being able to save the image being viewed while changing screens.
In total, they have access to over 200 channels, some in HD, along with over 2,000 movies and TV series.
Meanwhile, the Zabava app is now available on Samsung Smart TVs from 2012 onwards.
Rostelecom’s Interactive TV service, which employs the SmartLabs IPTV solution, is already used in 2.5 million homes throughout Russia.
