Andreas Heyden will become the new CEO of DFL Digital Sports on June 15, 2015.
The subsidiary of Germany’s national football association Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) is specialised in the production and provision of national and international media content.
Following job positions at Microsoft and the RTL group, Heyden has been working at German TV group ProSiebenSat.1 since 2011, most recently as CEO of video-on-demand (VOD) service maxdome.
At DFL Digital Sports, the 41-year old will replace Josef Nehl who’s been temporarily heading the company since the departure of Tom Bender.
Heyden’s successor at maxdome will be Lesley MacKenzie.
