The Czech Council for Radio and TV Broadcasting (RRTV) has awarded a DTT licence to the 24-hour cookery and lifestyle channel Mnam TV.
According to Parabola, the licence is held a Prague-based company named CE Media and valid for 12 years.
It allows Mnam TV to use the regional multiplex RS8, which is operated by the national transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) and distributes the channels TV Noe, Sport 5, Slovak Sport TV and Ocko Expres.
Mnam TV is already available to viewers via cable (UPC, Nej TV and Rio Media), DTH (Skylink, Freesat and Digi TV) and IPTV (O2 TV and Netbox).
