350 exhibitor registrations for ANGA COM

February 1, 2015 15.57 Europe/London By Robert Briel

ANGA_COM_2014WATCH VIDEO. More than four months before its start, ANGA COM said already 350 exhibitor have registerd.

This year, ANGA COM will cooperate with 12 leading associations of the broadband and media sector. With ANGA, BITKOM, BREKO, BUGLAS, VATM and the ZVEI Satellite & Cable Division this includes all leading associations of the German broadband sector.

Partners of the TV and media sector are Deutsche TV-Plattform and VPRT. Amongst the international partner organizations are the DVB consortium, the SCTE – The Society for Broadband Professionals, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and for the first time the Austrian Economic Chambers (WKÖ). Once again, a cooperation with the Medienforum NRW is planned.

Also this year, ANGA COM’s congress programme focuses equally on up-to-date product developments as well as on strategic and regulatory issues. Amongst others, the technical topics include TV Everywhere, Cloud TV, Personalized TV, Multiscreen, UHDTV, FTTH, Connected Home and DOCSIS 3.1. The strategy panels will deal with Video on Demand, digitisation, DVB-T2, net neutrality, public Wifi, Competition Law and broadband rollout.

As an additional presentation platform in the exhibition hall, the „Speakers’ Corner“ offers visitors further current practice topics. It supplements the regular congress programme, and can be attended free of charge by all exhibition visitors. The complete congress agenda will be published in March 2015. Tickets can already be ordered online at www.angacom.de.

“Also this year our exhibition and congress will focus equally on the broadband business and the audio-visual media world,” said Dr. Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA COM:

“Our cooperation agreements with by now 12 industry associations indicate the success of this combination. In 2015, we will further enhance our profile as a B2B market place and will therefore extend our service offering in the field of meeting space.”

In 2014, ANGA COM attracted 450 exhibitors and 17,000 business visitors – 50% of them international.
