SmartLabs has upgraded an IPTV service operated by the Georgian broadband provider Caucasus Online.
The upgrade was completed in less than six months and without service downtime or customer disturbance.
It has resulted in a significant increase in demand for the IPTV service and in the near future SmartLabs and Caucasus Online plan to extend the service further with the introduction of OTT multiscreen services.
Commenting on the upgrade, Mikhail Grachev, SmartLabs CEO, said: “We are really happy that our expertise enabled the migration to be completed in record time and allowed the customer to meet this deadlines. Caucasus Online was established in 2006 and currently provides broadband services to up 150,000 homes.
