Neotion says it has successfully integrated the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for Broadcast-Hybrid revenue security solution in its latest generation of CI Plus 1.3 Conditional Access Module (CAM). The announcement was made at the CSTB expo in Moscow.
The Neotion Advanced Security CAM with VCAS for Broadcast-Hybrid directly plugs into any connected CI Plus 1.3 TV set with built-in IP interface.
It combines the standard-based VCAS Broadcast-Hybrid solution for satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcast networks with an IP return path via Internet/broadband network. The product is now compliant with the latest Verimatrix high level security requirements based on embedded chipset protection – while enabling two-way key and entitlement management over IP networks only.
