Starting January 26, the Europe by Satellite (EbS and EbS+) channels will be broadcast in HD.
The channels will continue to be broadcast on the Eutelsat 9 position at 9 degrees East on a frequency of 11,900 GHz/H using MPEG4 H264 High Profile. Broadcasts are free-to-air.
EbS is the European Union’s TV information service, which was launched in 1995 and provides EU related audiovisual material via satellite to media professionals. The programming consists of a mix of live events, news items, stockshots on EU policies and issues.
