Both Tele2 and KPN are rolling out their TV Everywhere service nationwide for their customers.
KPN will start to roll out its Online Interactive TV service from January 29 making nationwide access possible to 25 live streaming channels. The roll-out to all KON TV customers is expected to be completed by March7.
Until now, the service was only available in and around the subscriber’s home. Using the special Online app from KPN, viewers will also be able to watch programmes they recorded on the go.
KPN customers who also buy mobile telephony from the provider will see their data bundle doubled at no additional charge in order to make watching TV via the 4G network cheaper.
Tele2 has just launched its live streaming TV app for tablets, offering 14 channels including all three national Dutch NPO channels, the four RTL Nederland channels, four channels from SBS Broadcasting and three from Fox International Channels.
