The Vilnius Regional Administrative Court has sanction a decision by the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) to impose a three- month ban on some programmes shown by the Russian channel Ren TV Baltic.
Valid until April 17, it applies specifically to content produced outside the EU, EEA and other European countries that have ratified the Convention on Television without Frontiers.
The incumbent telco Teo, which is also one of the leading providers of pay-TV services in Lithuania, has already confirmed that it is respecting the ban.
