beIN Sports, the sports subsidiary of Qatar-based Al Jazeera group, has acquired the international live broadcast rights of German football league Bundesliga in all territories where it is present.
The contract signed by Al Jazeera Media Network covers the next two seasons, reports French sports magazine L’Equipe. The territories covered include, for example, the Middle East, the USA, Canada, Indonesia and France.
In France, Canal+ and beIN Sports currently share the Bundesliga rights. From the next season, the Bundesliga will exclusively be shown by beIN Sports.
