Tomás Budnik has been elected the chairman of the board of directors at O2 Czech Republic.
At the same time, Tomas Kouril has been chosen to be the board’s vice chairman.
2 Czech Republic has been majority owned by Petr Kellner’s PPF investment group since the beginning of last year, with the group now holding an 83% stake in the telco.
O2 Czech Republic, which was previously owned by Spain’s Telefónica, is one of the leading players in the Czech Republic’s pay-TV industry and operates its largest IPTV platform.
