German commercial TV channel Collection TV has closed down its operations on December 31, 2014.
This was confirmed to Broadband TV News by managing director Jörg Schütte, but no further details were given.
The free-to-air channel which launched in November 2010 used to broadcast to DTH households on Astra (19.2° East) as well as on internet TV platform Zattoo.
Collection TV showed reportages and documentaries on topics like travel, lifestyle, nature and pets as well as teleshopping programmes.
