Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska has acquired Azart-Sat, a telco with a presence in the Lower Silesia and Opole voivodships in the south west of the country, for an undisclosed fee.
According to UPC Polska, Azart-Sat currently has around 19,000 RGUs and the deal is the latest stage of the consolidation of Poland’s cable market and UPC Polska’s expansion into the south west of Poland.
UPC Polska currently reaches over 2.6 million homes throughout Poland.
