German free-of-charge video-on-demand (VOD) service Netzkino TV has launched on Amazon’s streaming box Fire TV.
The users of the device which takes internet content to the TV set can access more than 1,500 movies through the Netzkino app, partially in HD quality. They neither need to register nor sign up for a subscription.
The OTT offering is financed through commercials screened before and during the films.
Netzkino is also available on smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Fire Phone), Google Chromecast, connected TV sets and via PC.
