A+E Networks expands sales team

A+E NetworksA+E Networks has expanded its London-based international content distribution team.

Robyn Hurd and Michael Oesterlin were appointed each as senior director, content sales, EMEA, and Lorenzo Bertolotti as manager, content sales, EMEA.

Hurd will be responsible for content distribution in the UK, Ireland, Benelux, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, reporting to Denis Cantin, VP, head of content sales, EMEA, A+E Networks. She joins A+E Networks from Drive Television and has held senior sales positions at Target Entertainment, Endemol Distribution and Celador International.

Effective since September, Oesterlin oversees sales activity in German-Speaking Europe, Nordics, Turkey, the Middle East, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Africa, French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland, reporting to Cantin. Most recently, Oesterlin has served as a Consultant to the A+E Networks international content distribution team. Previously, he held senior sales positions with GmBh, Tele München Gruppe, RHI Entertainment, Alchemy Television Group and Warner Bros. International Television.

Reporting to Michael Oesterlin, Bertolotti is responsible for content distribution in Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Portugal, French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland. Before joining A+E Networks, Bertolotti worked for Passion Distribution and eOne Television International, managing sales in Africa and the Middle East.

“Robyn, Michael and Lorenzo bring a wealth of sales experience across many genres, including scripted which is particularly crucial to our business. By strengthening our team through these appointments, we are well positioned to expand our sales operations globally,” said Cantin.
