Sky D launches Sky Go on Android devices

Sky Go AndroidGerman pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has made its mobile add-on service Sky Go available on mobile devices with the operating System Android following the web, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Xbox 360.

Sky subscribers can download the Sky Go app from the Google Play Store free of charge and use it to watch the offering they signed up for on their smartphone or tablet.

The supported devices at launch are: Google Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5, Note 2, Note 3, Note 10.1 and Tab 3 (10.1) with further Android devices to follow.

Sky Go is free of charge for all Sky customers subscribing at least to the Sky Welt or Sky Starter package.
