The Polish public broadcaster TVP will add an EPG with programme recommendations to its hybrid service at the beginning of next year.
According to Wirtualne Media, the EPG will be accessible to all viewers receiving its terrestrial channels via a TV or set-top box with an inbuilt HbbTV function.
TVP launched its hybrid platform in June 2012 and it currently consist of 17 thematic services, among them a VOD library and the main app, known as Huba.
The platform also occasionally contains on demand channels dedicated to important events.
TVP’s HbbTV services are already used by over 720,000 viewers.
