The new majority owner of the Polish national commercial broadcaster TVN should be known in Q1 2015, according to Markus Tellenbach, the company’s CEO.
Speaking to the local press, he added that the second phase of the share sale would start next week, originated by a smaller group of investors.
This would be followed by managers’ presentations, with a potential buyer being known in the first quarter of next year.
Tellenbach has already revealed that around 12 parties are interested in buying TVN.
He confirmed that they include Time Warner, which backs CME, one of the original owners of TVN, and Discovery Communications.
