Russia’s CTC Media has appointed Maxim Bobin as its chief legal officer.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s legal affairs and coordination of potential responses to recent amendments to the On Mass Media law, as well as the company’s restructuring activities.
Commenting on the appointment, Yuliana Slashcheva, CTC Media’s CEO, said: “Maxim joins our team at a key moment in our development and his experience will be invaluable in not only considering our response to the recently introduced changes to the mass media law and the company’s restructuring activities, but also in the broader ongoing development of our business.”
Bobin added: “I am grateful for the confidence the company has placed in me and glad to have joined the CTC Media team. The legal team works closely together in Moscow, across the regions and with our international advisors, and we will together further optimise our working processes.”
