German media company Your Family Entertainment (YFE) has launched its family channel Fix&Foxi on December 1, 2014.
The pay-TV channel replaces the yourfamily channel operated by YFE on all platforms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via cable, IPTV, internet TV and mobile TV.
The 24 hour service offered in 16:9 widescreen format is based on the comic characters invented by German author Rolf Kauka.
Besides Fix&Foxi who act as the channel’s presenters, this includes figures like Lupo, Lupinchen, Oma Eusebia, Onkel Fax, Professor Knox, Zauberstein, Familie Peppercorn and Makiki.
