The new hybrid Slovak DTH platform AntikSAT will in due course become a multinational service.
Quoted by RadioTV.cz and Parabola, Peter Blass, the business development director at Kosice-based Antik Telecom, said that it would in due course also become available in the Czech Republic and Hungary, and possibly also Poland.
In the case of Hungary and Poland, the DTH markets are already highly competitive, while in the Czech Republic it would only face competition from Skylink, freeSAT and Digi TV.
As previously reported in < em>Broadband TV News, AntikSAT will make its debut in Slovakia in the first quarter of 2015.
