Ren TV eyes international expansion

Ren TVThe Russian broadcaster Ren TV plans to launch two new channels in 2015.

According to the company, it has applied to Roskomnadzor for licences for the channels, which will be named Ren TV International and Military Secrets.

The former will be prepared for English-speaking audiences around the world and as close as possible to the Russian version of Ren TV.

Military Secrets, on the other hand, will include unique documentaries produced by Ren TV.

Both channels will be broadcast round-the-clock and distributed via DTH, cable and digital networks.
