German cable operator NetCologne will add several new TV channels to its lineup on December 1, 2014.
The most new channels will be part of the new pay-TV package Family HD: AXN HD, Sony Entertainment HD, ProSieben Fun HD, Fuel TV HD, Marco Polo TV, Stingray Lite TV and Deutsches Wetter Fernsehen. The bouquet offers a total of 60 channels for €24.95 per month. New customers receive the first six months free of charge.
Another addition will be the HD version of interactive youth channel joiz which will be distributed unencrypted. Joiz HD has so far only been available on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain.
The HD-Option through which customers can receive the HD versions of free-to-air TV channels for €6.95 per month will be expanded by women’s channel TLC HD. With the latest additions, NetCologne will carry a total of 80 HD channels.
France 24 (en Français) and France 24 (in English) will join the new bonus package available at no extra charge to all subscribers of a pay-TV package or the HD-Option.
NetCologne and sister company NetAachen serve around 246,000 households in Cologne, Bonn, Leverkusen, Aachen, Düren, Düsseldorf, Neuss and Remscheid.
