Discovery Networks is re-launching Discovery HD Showcase in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on December 1, with a new logo, a refreshed on-air look and an enriched programming line-up.
The channel, which airs in over 120 markets across EMEA, including Poland, Russia, Benelux and Portugal, also changes its name into Discovery Showcase HD, thus putting an emphasis on broadcasting the highlights from the Discovery Networks portfolio. All programmes are available in HD format and consists of a combination of shows from Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, and now also TLC, ID and ID Xtra.

As part of the new on-air identity, Discovery Showcase HD will also receive a makeover with brand new on-air look including animated logos, promo endboards and bumps. This new on-air look will help viewers recognise where the programme they are watching is from, whether it be Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, TLC, ID and ID Xtra or if it is one of the exclusive titles that can only be watched on Discovery Showcase HD.
