Germany’s largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland has boosted its HD lineup by adding 10 further free-to-air and pay-TV channels.
The additions are children’s channels Disney XD HD, Disney Junior HD, Nickelodeon HD and Nick Jr. HD. Also new are series channel Sony Entertainment Television HD as well as youth and music channel VIVA HD and entertainment channel Comedy Central HD which share a slot.
Earlier, Kabel Deutschland announced the launch of sportdigital HD, A&E HD and MTV HD. The carriage of all new channels commenced on November 25, 2014 with the exception of Nick Jr. HD which will follow on December 10, 2014.
In total, Kabel Deutschland now offers 77 HD channels on its cable network.
