Germany’s largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland will add further free-to-air and pay-TV channels to its cable network in November 2014.
One of the additions is sports channel sportdigital HD which will thereby become available in HD quality in Germany for the first time. Sportdigital HD launched in Switzerland at UPC Cablecom on November 4, 2014. The HD launch at Kabel Deutschland will take place on November 25, 2014.
The other new HD channels are MTV HD and A&E HD (from November 25, 2014), boosting Kabel Deutschland’s HD lineup to a total of 70 channels.
Further HD channels will be added by the end of November 2014, according to Kabel Deutschland.
