Scripps widens Hungarian reach

HungaryTravel Channel is now available to Magyar Telekom’s Telekom TV digital subscribers in Hungary.

According to Scripps Networks International, the service, which is operated by Scripps Networks UK & EMEA, has been offered since November 4 and will also be provided in the new Miniplay package from January 2015.

Commenting on the launch, Jon Sichel, MD, Scripps Networks UK & EMEA, said: “Travel Channel takes viewers on an exciting adventure each time they tune in, and we are thrilled to bring more globe-trotting stars and high-energy entertainment to a wider audience in Hungary. We are confident that new viewers will thoroughly enjoy our unique brand of entertaining, high quality lifestyle programming that is now part of Magyar Telekom’s bouquet”.
