New milestone for nangu.TV

November 8, 2014 10.54 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Nangu TVOver 450,000 paid subscribers, using active devices such as set-top boxes, mobile phones, tablets and PCs, are now connected to nangu.TV’s end-to-end IPTV and OTT platform.

The platform allows for the delivery of TV and video content, including advanced value-added services, via third-party operators.

Prague-based nangu.TV includes O2, T-Mobile Czech Republic, Orange Slovensko, itself, SMART Comp, DSi DATA SK and Slovanet among its customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

It also has customers in Poland, Switzerland, France, Ukraine and the Emirates and has recently expanded its reach across Europe and the US.

Commenting on the milestone, Tomas Padera, the company’s chief business development officer, said: “This announcement again highlights our vast experience with a large number of active customers, showing the platform’s high-performance, scalability and robustness.

“It also shows that our media platform can span the spectrum from regional ISPs to major mobile networks with interactive television services. This milestone, and the enormous rise in devices at customer installations over the past two years, is testament to the investment the company has made within the nangu.TV platform. We are continuing this investment with plans to release new interfaces for mobile devices and the web in the coming months. This will continue our customers’ success and will establish nangu.TV as the leader in delivering IPTV.”
