Wuaki.tv secures German movie package

Wuaki tv screenshot deVideo-on-demand (VOD) provider Wuaki.tv will offer movies from Constantin Medien when it launches in Germany on November 25, 2014 following a licence deal signed with the German film production and distribution company.

The line-up will contain both current and older titles which users will be able to rent or purchase in SD and HD resolution both in the dubbed German and in the original-language version.

The agreement includes movies such as Need for Speed, The Sacrament, Les Choristes and German productions like Fuck ju Göhte, Irre sind männlich, Tarzan, Vorstadtkrokodile and Die fünf Freunde.

Wuaki.tv which is backed by Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten launched its beta test stage in Germany at the end of October 2014.
