Despite deciding to close its DTH service, T-Mobile intends to maintain a presence in the Czech TV market.
Digizone reports that the company will launch a mobile TV service, known simply as Mobile T-Mobile TV, this month.
Initially operating on a trial basis, it will offer 10 still-to-be-announced TV channels and be available to the first 10,000 customers who use any of the T-Mobile post-paid tariffs.
Mobile T-Mobile TV will be available on both Android and iOS devices, including iPhone 6, and have a number of additional features such as recording, an EPG and parental control.
A video library will be added at a future date.
