iConcerts app now live in Opera TV Store

iConcertsiConcerts has launched its online msuic videos in the Opera TV Store, Opera Software’s app platform for Smart TV devices.

The Opera TV Store is available pre-installed on devices including smart TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and set-top boxes from leading manufacturers and pay-TV operators. Bringing a collection of downloadable web apps that are optimised for the big screen, Opera TV Store offers consumers a way to enjoy online content and apps in an intuitive and user-friendly way.

“Through our collaboration with Opera, iConcerts live music content will now become available to Sony Smart TV customers among other platforms. This marks our completion of a 3 year long process of rolling out iConcerts with all major Smart TV brands in the market,” says Mathieu Sibille, CEO of iConcerts.

“iConcerts offers a massive selection of music’s biggest names, and has itself has become one of the biggest names in online music entertainment,” says Daniel Nordberg, Head of Content Acquisition for TV & Devices, Opera Software.

“We are excited to bring Opera TV Store viewers everything from the classic stars to the tunes of today, to turn their living room into their favorite concert venue.”
