The Russian telco Rostelecom has introduced triple play packages to its offer and will in the future also offer quad play.
According to Vedomosti, the latter will be achieved through the company operating as an MVNO, using a network belonging to Tele2, in which it holds a 45% stake.
Demand for Rostelecom packages is expected to grow over the next few years, with the number of signed up customers rising from a projected 12.1 million at the end of this year to 23.4 million in 2019.
As of the end of September Rostelecom had 10.9 million broadband and 7.7 million pay-TV customers.
