German science channel Welt der Wunder TV has launched its planned sister channel for viewers in neighbouring Switzerland.
The 24 hour service can be received as a free-to-air offering on IPTV platform Swisscom TV operated by Switzerland’s national telco Swisscom.
Welt der Wunder TV Schweiz defines itself as a stand-alone national channel focusing on original productions. The first Swiss original production to be aired will be a documentary about the uncertain future of the Bruno Weber Park near Zurich on October 24, 2014.
Welt der Wunder TV which launched in Germany one year ago wants to expand into further territories following the roll-out in Switzerland.
