Poland will host Cable Congress in March 2016, with the event taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw.
Speaking to Broadband TV News, Jerzy Straszewski, the president of the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communications (PIKE), said that he was very pleased that the country had been chosen by Cable Europe, of which PIKE was a founding member.
He added that it was also an acknowledgement of the fact that Poland boasts the third largest cable market in Europe in terms of subscriber numbers after Germany and the Netherlands.
This will only be the third time Cable Congress has taken place in CEE, with Prague and Budapest having hosted the event.
