Samsung has agreed to remove banned Russian TV channels from its products in Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian regulator (National Council), this follow a meeting between its representative and Samsung Electronic Ukraine.
The latter later said it only carried out its activities in full compliance with the laws of Ukraine and would therefore soon restrict access to banned Russian TV channels on Smart TV technology in Ukraine.
LG Electronics has already entered into a similar agreement with the Ukrainian regulator.
